Her own annoyance about the extra terrestrial lie had faded weeks ago, only curiosity remained from it, but she still took the time to give him a light dig about the elaborate lie. "I guess I get how it'd be hard to believe though, even for people who'd go to bat for ya." After another pause she asked, "Was the whole alien thing partly to gather people up so they could see all this too? To lend some more credibility to it I mean."
