Storkwing awoke. The area surrounding her was dark and foreboding. The grass was dark and prickly against her sides. She slowly and shakily got to her paws, gritting her teeth in pain. A searing pain was radiating from her throat. It was gashed open and bleeding. 'No.. This is.. The Dark Forest!' she thought to herself. A wave of anger washed over her. How'd she wind up in the Dark Forest? She didn't do anything wrong or broke the code in any way!"A medicine cat in the Dark Forest? How shameful~" Storkwing heard a purr rumble from the darkness. A pair of blue eyes shone, contrasting with the mash of dark colors around her. "Who's there? Show yourself!" she yowled. The blue eyes stalked closer, revealing a large black and white tom. "I'm sure you know who I am. It'd be insulting if you didn't." He bared his fangs at her. "I'm Darktail, the new leader of this forest. And I'm glad you happened to roll around. So many injuries here are left untreated, and I'm sure you'd be a great help." the big tom meowed.
"I'll do it." Storkwing mewed.
