A part of him wanted to believe that she was being honest, but he was skeptical of her benevolence. Could it be that she wanted to reward them, that maybe there was something good in it for him? No, it couldn't be. He just watched her press his friends into the ground with massive wooden totems larger than a building. Still, it wasn't like he could refuse. It at least calmed him some meager amount that she was being somewhat gentle, and that she said she wanted to reward them.
