Well, he's voice changed since New Super Mario Bros DS. and back then he fought bare handed, now he's voice is a bit more mature, not too much and he fight's in a vehicle!

Well, the vehicle thing is being used since New Super Mario Bros Wii. in games like Mario & Luigi Dream Team, Paper Mario, New Super Mario Bros U and probably future New Marios, and like you said even Smash Brothers now! and the voice, yeah, it definetly changed since DS. the curious thing though is that in the DS he's voice was childish, but in sunshine (his first appearance) is closer to it's today voice, maybe they realized that it was a bad idea change his sunshine voice... the change it's comparable with the change that luigi had.

Ahh, I see... I never played those games(except New Super Mario Bros, and Sunshine...), so sorry about that! But, his voice still does sound pretty childish, so I assume he still young, how young we'll never know... Though, I assume something like this wouldn't be too much of a stretch, like no matter what they still father & son, so.Β Β

This conversation reminds me... ΒΏyou know that Bowser jr KIND of appeared in partners in time? Tje character itself was just Bowser from the past, but its appearance and voice are excactly the same as Bowser jr. rather than making some changes like yoshi's island... the adult Bowser was very rough with the little guy, even in the description of Bowser jr trophy in Mario Party DS it says that he has Β lonely side, that probably may drive him to be king even more selfish than it's father, but in battle, Bowser jr. (actually baby Bowser, but... who cares, Β‘Nintendo doesn't care!) get's on Bowser's back and fight against Mario & Luigi has a pretty nice team... but not as good as Mario & Luigi actually...
