do you have any links to any vector resources for this type of work? I have worked in photoshop for such a long time but would love to get into vector work, but have no clue where to begin...

I'm not sure what you mean by "Vector Resources." I've you have an email account that can handle a decent sized attachment I could send you the vector part of this image to mess with. Or maybe I could make a video tutorial on how to make this image, it wouldn't take too long.

I am quite familiar with photoshop, however I have no clue where to begin with creating vector art in illustrator, so I just wondered if you had any, or knew of any other tutorials which may help me begin.
