LoL great penguins...I bet alot of Linux users have that as their desktop, right about now. 3D Studio Max seems to be what you use for alot of your work...is it really tricky to use?

Depends what you're trying to do. Both programs can be simple as pie, or harder than hell, depending on what you're trying to make.
