Human Anatomy Class Roster and SyllabusWinter 2012
Overview:
The goal of this class is to learn basic human anatomy. We will go over the shapes and proportions of the human body and take a look at basic human skeletons and musculature. There will be two required assignments for the class: one at the start to gauge skill levels, and another around midterm to check improvement. Recommended assignments will also be given each week, but are not required. There is a class final at end of term.
This class is the basic basic level, if you're interested in a more intermediate or advanced look at human anatomy, extra assignments can be given.
Tentative Lesson Plan:

Week 7: (12Feb-18Feb) Stylization
Week 8: (19Feb-25Feb) Review and Putting it all together
Final due 29Feb
Materials:
Something to draw on/with (sketchbook and pens, digital art program, etc.)
Ability to upload finished work on dA
Anything else would be neato but not required

About the Instructor:
My name is Smercurial, but you can call me Smerc or Rial or even Ri if you're strange like that.
This is my first time teaching a class, so please have patience with me!
I've been drawing on and off several years, but not professionally. I haven't taken any art classes per say, but i have lots and lots of art books and life experience, if that means anything, lol.
I'm a bit ADHD at times, and usually very energetic. I wish i could dedicate all my time to this class, but i work (usually between 15-40 hrs per week, depending) so i might not be as quick to reply as i'd like.
My most active hours are 0800-1200 GMT and 2000-0000 GMT depending on RL work hours.
I'm always open for questions or just conversation; i'm usually on dA if you wanna bug me.

0800-1200 GMT and 2000-0000 GMT I live in Oregon, so for me, that's 1600-2000 (4 PM-8PM) and 4 AM to 8 AM?

Hmmmm... time zones. Let's see, the internet tells me that Oregon is PST (unless daylight savings times?) which is -8GMT so that's... 12AM-4AM and 12PM-4PM?
