Description
A fellow artist gave me a good idea for the lore of the elves (for my fairy tale world/project). There is a huge forest that can also be seen very clearly on the world map (cannot be overlooked) this forest was the home of the elves. But when the first Demon King established his seat in this forest and drove out the elves, this forest was corrupted by that Demon King.

A few years after the Demon King was defeated, a tribe of elves repeatedly tried to settle this forest. But all but one tribe met a sad end in their old homeland.

The tribe that managed to put down roots in the forest, but that came at a price. In order to survive in the forest, she had to subject herself to constant and intense curses in order to build up resistance and a certain level of immunity. Unfortunately, this affected their nature somewhat, making these elves a little more hostile than some others.

By living in the Dark Forest they have developed many new skills that will last forever. So the warriors and hunters of the tribe cover you with a second skin that curses anyone who touches them and passes on an accidental ailment to their victims. This skin is mist or sometimes tough-footed and only the eyes and the mouth can be seen, which, like a war mask, drives fear into the hunted
