Cмотрю я на эту работу и на лице такая глупая улыбка сразу возникает^___^
Работа классная. Такая романтичная, нежная, немного грустная. И, зная биографию Фенриса, она еще и трогательной получается.

I've not heard those rumours actually. I'm not on the Bioware board. But I can give you a preliminary answer anyways: It will - believe it or not - depend heavily on her character.
You see despite me being an Anora fanboy I actually don't like Morrigan at all, due to her "For the EVULZ" attitude with no reason or pragmatism. If Merill is "loves to practice blood magic and other evil things" just for the heck of it I wont like her. She needs to have a proper reason and goal and be savy enough to do good things, if it's benefical to her in the long run. I like Miranda from ME2 a lot better than Morrigan for example. I don't agree with her a lot of times, but her attudutes and motivations are understandable and internally consistent.
