From the 1958 MGM sci-fi movie, comes the space creature who served as pretty much the inspiration for the Dan O'Bannon screenplay to Ridley Scott's 1979, Alien. Basically a spaceship lands on a planet and an alien life form gets on the spaceship and kills off members of the crew and it's up to the survivors to kill it. Almost plagiarism !
