I was inspired to sketch this concept out in a discussion about mixing the two animations together, as I am a big fan of both “The Boondocks” and “Samurai Champloo” (SC being my all time favorite anime). In my opinion, Huey is perfect for the role of Jin, as Riley would be for Mugen. Their personalities are just so similar, I had to see what it would look like, so I decided to bring this imagery to life. I hope y’all love this concept, as I am working on a full color final illustration of this fan art.
