Mirage closed the gate and took a few steps forward before plopping onto the ground, breathing heavily and raising her chin up to the sky in hopes to relieve the burning sensation in her lungs. After leaving the gate open, it had become a long 3 hour chase to get every single puckoo back into the pen. By the time she finished, the sun was already setting and she was covered in new scratches and bruises.

Trying to catch her breath, Mirage missed the brown quad approach her carrying a something and putting it down on the ground.

"WHEW-WHEE I was getting nervous once the sun started to set! Thank goodness you got em’ all back! Thank you for catchin’ em’ all. They’re not very fast but when they all go in different directions, it can be a lil’ daunting I know! Well at least ya got a full does of daily puckoo keepin’!" Lasso exclaimed.

Mirage took a few more deep breaths before looking at her, "Yes well, lesson learned, gotta make sure that gate is closed next time." she joked. "Aside from all the running I could've avoided, it was actually fun, plus I got my exercise in."

"Hah, yep, nothin' like a good's day work here to build strength!"

Mirage looked at the orange sky and got up with a little stretch, "Well, I should get back home before dark, I could use the rest after all that."

"Rest is good. Oh! Before you leave take these, I think you've more than earned them." Lasso shoved the basket of eggs into Mirage's hands. Mirage took them and bowed her head lightly with a smile.

"Thank you Ms. Lasso. Have a wonderful evening."

"You too Mirage." and with that the two parted ways.

Mirage walked towards the exit of the farm, happy with the eggs ─she could definitely pack these with her on her trip to Stave's Rest. She stopped as soon as she reached her Ori before she dropped her head in exasperation. In all the excitement, she forgot to ask Lasso about Ori care. Ah well, there was always next time.
