You have it all wrong. The people that love you for you will continue to love you for you as long as you are you.
However, eventually you'd be doing this for so long you get attention from those that just see you as someone that gets "front paged" often. They will be the ones that hate/troll/turn-you-against-your-comments-section.
If getting flak for your art is something you aren't already prepared for... Well, I don't know. Take up meditation or yoga or something. Contracts certainly won't save you.
