It's been almost 30 years since my time in the Death Watch.
I served the Death Watch for 40 years and still I remember all to well that last deploymend for Lord Inquisitor Oak of the Ordo Xenos and my first meeting whit Eevee.

I was sumond by the Watch Captain along with 4 other brothers.
He told us that we had been choosen for a special assignment. But he gave us no more informantin other than who was in Kill Team leader and a transport was ready to transport us to our destination.

On board the ship we was meet by a servitor that escorted us to a special meeting chamber.
In this meeting chamber a hologram appeard by a old man in a white coat who introduset himself as Inquisitor Oak of the Ordo Xenso.
He told us that we were on route to a special system that was not part of the Imperium but was a Inqisitorial research wold under he's command and we will be informed more on our arrival.
But til then we had to stay in that shamber until we arrived.

The warp traveld took days while we was locked in this chamber. He had nothing mutch to do than talk, cheking weapons and gears, while time to time a servitor served us food and drinks.
We were 5 Marines togheter. Our Kill Team leader a Salamander named Zatar a calm warrior wealding a flame pistol and a chainsaw. Like many Salamanders he was the frendliest. The Techmarine was a Iron Hands named Xeraar who mostly stayed by himself and thinkering whit he's equipments, servor weapoms and didn't say mutch. The Apothecary was a White Scars named Ulkabal he himself didn't say mutch either but had a more frendlier aura around him. Last was Darkhame of the Space Wolves who was the oldest of us and throne did he love to talk about he's achievements and bragged how many heretics and xenos he had slayed whit he's heavy bolter. I sweare hadn't we arraived I belive that Xeraar and Ulkabal would have done whatever they could to shut him off.

When we was let out of the chamber, we was lead to a special teleporter unlike anything I had ever seen before. I could tell Xeraar was also impresssed. The Servitor told us to steap in and the Inquisitor would meet us on the surface.

We were teleported to what look like a underground base. But before we was to looking arround a door open and the Inquisitor stept in to the room and walk to holo table in the senter of the room.
We gather around the table and the Inquisitor inform us of this world and why we was here.

This world had been discoverd few hundreds years after the creation of the Ordo Xenos and been a secret not even the High Lords new of. The reason was the creatures here had powers and abilites not conected to the imaterium. Even the solarsystem we was in was infact not affected by the warp. Not even astrophats could reach in or out. He told us the possible cause was 4 creatures that he named Arceus, Giratina, Dialga and Palkia. Apperanlty these 4 had the somehow the power to repel the warp and that's why this world was not part of the Imperium.
Apperantly the Inquisitor that had found the wourd so many years ago did it by pure coincidence.
But still these 4 was so powerfull that bringing the Imperial forces here would infact do more harm than good so the system location was hidden, only ship that had the coordinates to this world was the same ship that had transported us here.

But the reason we was here was because 40 days ago one of he's acolytes that was station at the at a observator had discoverd a Drukhari ship approching the world. So the Inquisitor sent he's ship to bring a Death Watch Kill team to eliminet the xenos before they did too much harm and revaled the world to their species.
Apperantly the Drukhari had belived the world too primitive too notice them that they just went straight for the planet and landed close to a mounten the Inquisitor said the lockal had named Mt. Moon and was capturing these creatures he called Pokemon.

Our mission was this, purge the xenos and free all capture Pokemon.

We left the base by a transport that look like a primitive cargo transport.
We had screens that showed us the outside of the transport, I could see we was not only exiting a mountain but in the distant I could see what look big field and at the end was a yellow byilding whit red roof and a tall balded tower.
It took us a few hours but we arrived at night close too this Mt. Moon. We exited the transport and moved on foot to the Drukhari's base.

We found it and by the Throne there was many chages filled with creatures, many was badly injured already. All the xenos was gathered for a fiest and watching these creatures fight whit blades that was attaced to them.

Since the Drukhari was distracted by their entertaimen we uset the element of suprice to strike.
The Xenos bearly was able to reacte before we slayed them whit bolter, fire and blades.

After we had purged the all xenos Zartar gave order that Xeraar too begin to look into the Drukhari ship to investigate if the the xenos had been able to send some kind of signal out while the rest of us was to begin the release of the captured creatures.

We must have spent at almost a hour releasing these cretures, many was badly injured and many more had already sucome too their wounds. In the last cage I opend there was there was many dead light brown creatures exept one. This one was staying close to the corner and was shaking in fear. At first I thought to pull it out by force but decided that would not help at all so I removed my helmet and reach out my open hand to show I was no threat to it. It carefully smell my hand then it then touch it whit it paw, then it made some kind of happy noice and run up my arm and stopt on my Death Wach pauldrin and lookt right at me with joyfull eyes. Darkhame laugth and joked that I had made a new friend. He was more right then annyone of us could ever belive.

After we were done relasing all the captured creatures we contacted the Inquisitor too inform him that the xenos was purged and Xeraar had confirm not even the Drukhari's had been able to send a messeg out to their race since they enterd the system.
So the Inquisitor told us to put the ship on autopilot and send it towards the sun too be destoyed then go too the transport to return back to he's secret base. He had already dispatch a group of he's acolyhtes to take care of the clean up.

On our way back these brown creatuere was still sitting on my pauldrin waving it's tail back and foward so I stopped at a tree stump and kneel down and it jumped down on the stump and looket at my waving it's tail faster. But I stood up and continued too walk towards the transport.
Little did I know how determined this creature was to stay by my side.

When we arrived at the Inquisistor mountain base and he mad us sweare too not tell anyone about this world and it's inhabitants. We made ready to teleport back to he's ship when the creature I had helped ran towards me. The Inquisitor was facinated by how attached it was too me.

He told me since this creature he called Eevee was so attached to me it would be better I took her with me, the he gave me some thing to bring with me. First he gave me a small red and white ball and told me to put it infornt of Eevee. Eevee tapt the white button and the ball open and Eevee turn into some energy and went inside the ball and it closet and wiggle 3 times before it made a sound. The Inquisitor said I had "Caught" Eevee and that "Pokeball" was tech simelar to that of the Necron Tesseract labyrinth. He den went to bring me a stone that he called a "Everstone" said it would prevent Eevee to "Evolve" what ever that meant. He also recorded messeg into a special Inqiusiotrial rosette that he gave to me and told me that it would stat that by he's authority was Eevee under my care and protection and she was not be either taken from me or harm by others. I was also given full right too use leathal force to defend Eevee from anyone that tried to take her.

Then we left the world and return back to the Watch. On the trip back I spent time whit Eevee and found her presence very enjoyable. Even most of the other had the same expretions.

When we returned to the Watch the Watch Captain said I was to return to my Chapter, so I did.

On my arrivald I meet whit Chapter master Calgar and introduced Eevee and told him what information I was allowed too share about Eevee and that she was under my care by special orders from the Inquisitor Oak, and Lord Calgar accepted it whit no questions.

He the told me a new chapter was neaded to be sent to the northen region of Ultramar because of several xenos threat's that was starting to rise up and since I had served for 40 years in the Death Watch, I was best candidate too be selected as Chapter Master of this new Chapter. Although I was opposed the ide of leading a new Chapter, Lord Calgar said he had faight in me so I accepted my new role and left whit Eevee and a Brothers to start to build my Chapter.

Too this day me and Eevee have been togheter.
