"He saw the old man come to sit on a bench in the Parque Forestal, in front of the monument to Rubén Darío. Always with a book in hand. For me, he was the biggest reader in the world. He was concentrating so much on reading that he seemed to sink between the pages. And one day he did: he got into the book. I swear yes. The book absorbed it! I said to myself: "Impossible." But the best reader in the world had disappeared and the book was inert on the park bench. I thought, "What an extraordinary book!" And I stole it. I took it home with reader and everything."
