Description Phobia Circus

Archie kept throwing the tennis ball at the wall, his throws reflecting so hard from the wall that he could make it bounce back and he could catch it. Boredom tore at him bit by bit as he kept doing to cycle of throw-bounce-catch, throw-bounce-catch. His snowy leopard tail twitched, flakes of white falling out of his tail. He had been throwing the ball so long that the hands behind the black biker gloves were numb from constant catching. Once he finally put down his catching hand, he turned to his friend Flashpoint and said “I know how to make this boredom go away. Any phobias that fox has?”

Wulfenzer was crossing the street when his ears twitched to hear Archie. He shook his head and kept walking, sighing in annoyance. Flashpoint, the swift blue bat, began to hover with his wings and smiled. “Quite a few fears, really. Claustrophobia, Aeroph-“ “In English, please.” Knockout sighed. He was a brown ferret with yellow and red boxing gloves covering his hands. “Knockout, you idiot, he means she has a fear of closed spaces and a fear of heights. I heard she’s still scared of the dark, being alone, or even being scared of thunder.” “She’s such a baby.” Flashpoint chuckled.

Flashpoint smiled, his wings speeding up. “I say it’s time she pays a little visit to a haunted house designed for her…!” The others smiled at the idea and quickly got to work. They made sure there was a tight-rope area for high in the sky, a tight, enclosed space for little air, and an extremely dark area for the finish line. Soon, the predicted storm began to roll in. “Perfect timing.” Flashpoint quickly flew off to find the fox.

Taila was hurriedly trying to get her house’s door open, her eyes watered in worry of the approaching thunderstorm. “Hey, squirt!” A familiar voice yelled behind her, and soon she was lifted off the ground. She wasn’t high off the ground, so she felt somewhat safe. “Uh… where are we going?” “We’re going to an amusement park. For our amusement, of course.”

She didn’t understand the last part in the way Flashpoint understood, she soon was set at the entrance to a supposed amusement park, rigged with the additional darkness in the sky, she entered the three part torture park.

Darkness soon swallowed her whole as she entered the first part, and this was when she realized this wasn’t for her amusement, but for Archie’s, and any others who stood outside, watching the torture park intently. The thought made her want to push on, so she kept walking. She soon reached the tightrope, Archie smirking up at her. Taila hesitated, the dark clouds visible to her now. She whimpered to herself, and suddenly lightning accompanied by thunder shattered the sky. A bead of sweat dripped and she hurried onto the rope.

Soon, she was halfway through with the rope. Archie’s tail whipped, and with that, Flashpoint was shaking the rope, intent on making Taila drop into the lake below. Soon her paws slipped and she plummeted into the lake, the calming water’s little rippled interrupted by Taila landing inside it, making a splash. Oddly enough, she couldn’t get herself back to the surface, bubbles franticly escaping from her mouth. It seemed her own immense quantities of energy actually had weight. She was panicking now, flailing her arms in a crude attempt to propel herself upward.

She was screaming, gravity was too strong, bubbles were rising, she couldn’t swim. A new fear sank in. She was more desperate than before, kicking and screaming, trying to swim.

Fierce footsteps rushed towards Archie and elbowed him into the water. Wulfenzer glared at the water as Archie landed. “You better get Taila out of that water.” He growled. Archie grumbled and began to swim towards a small patch of yellow fog that conflicted with the cerulean water.

He was suddenly grabbed by the throat and thrown up, shooting out of the surface of the water and landing with a sickening thud on the ground beside Flashpoint. A clawed hand shot out of the water, grabbing the grass and pulling its body out of the water. The yellow fox had grown from being half a normal mobian’s height to being barely centimeters from being a normal mobian’s height, her fur was ruffled, and her face was easily hidden by her longer, wilder hair.

Wulfenzer quickly darted away, but the girl didn’t mind. She looked up at the remaining observers, her mouth stretched in a morbid smile, her eyes small and crimson, and her eyes bordered by darkness. “So…” The fox said in a giggly, shaky voice as she withdrew a knife, “Let’s have some fun before my little sis wakes back up…”
