I still think my portraits are best, because of the technical skill involved and the fact they took longer time to do.
I do think this is great because of the fact that it stands out well, though the only reason for this is because the heaver and lighter shades match up to the photo more.
My earlier drawings just seem to have more of a significant approach, also they seem to more balance in contrasts to the way I liked

Well I like that it`s focused on a single
thing, the teardrop, and from that photo,
it seems you have captured the soul of it 
Which isnΒ΄t easy when you draw, using a photo
as reference!
And I also love how the bright shades are in
such a great contrast to the dark tones!
I know thatΒ΄s not too easy to do when drawing..
So kudos to you!
