MINI STORY TIME:

I feel ashamed really... my little brothers down there working his ass off to get fuel for this unholy iron monster, while I'm just a maintainer. Sure, I have the harder job mentally, and it can get physical when I need to tighten the gigantic bolts, but Harland is drained. I see it in his eyes, exhaustion. There's no other jobs we can get really...at least non that pay as well. I feel as though we're back in the Industrial Revolution, where coal has become the main source of fuel once more.

I also feel ashamed of what Colton would think of me. He told me to not do anything stupid, to stay with Harland. I mean, Harland WANTED to work for the generator, but I didn't know they were gonna place him in the mines! He wants to go to college for Gods sake, as a 27 year old he shouldn't have to work in a deadly position! I can't risk losing the only sibling I have left. Maybe its time we try to move, but the snow won't let up. We can't go anywhere, we can't do anything about it. I guess the only solution to this problem is to keep working, and hope nothing happens to either of us. My family needs us...

I tightened another wire, wondering why we're not resorting to more of a Uranium based fuel. North Dakota is big on coal, I guess this is why our generators run off it because we have such a plentiful supply of it. Downright dirty, nasty. I'm hoping Harland doesn't develop pneumonia at this point. The Earth better fix itself fast, because I'm not so sure how much more of this frozen tundra I can stomach.

Harland works in the mines below Bismarck, Cordell is an Engineer, one of the best, who keeps the Generator running, and meanwhile Colton, well.... let's just say he's an experiment. Cordell and Harland very much think he's dead.

TO THE ICE NOW. Maybe I'll post some more traditional doodles I did a while ago later.... or sometime when I'm not as sore idk. I'll keep ya posted! xD
