Ok think the re-sizing slightly screwed up the image.

From my responses in my journals.... and the wild success of 's cakefight.... and the realisation that she's one of the most popular of my chars, I decided to carry on anyway.

Well, that's it. For any of you who are actually reading my journals, you'll know what this is. For those who aren't this is it:

Reaper Absol: Watcher's comic: Bad places to see the Reaper

Ever wanted to make a comic panel with the Reaper? Well, this is your chance.

What's a bad place to see the Reaper? Is it on the stage before a performer's stunt? In a doctor's clinic? Or is it at the traffic light junction when you're about to cross the road?

Well, I-donnoe She may just be lost or she may be waiting for someone........... that's for you to decide.

What to do

Take the picture above, and use an image editor (or something else) to go create a background, foreground and/or other chars for the image to create a place which is not good to see her.

Let your imagination go mad, put her in. Make a panel for the comic and I'll stitch it together all of them to make a odd comic when I get enough entries.

Specifications

Unfortunately, I'll only accept fully coloured images. (Preferably digital) This is to keep true with that line of comic being fully coloured. Shading is optional (I'll accept flat colours)

Final image MUST not have a Mature rating for obvious reasons.

Stuff you can do:

- Move the Reaper around
- Shrink or resize the Reaper (so that she looks further in the BG.... just not too small avoid enlarging her.)
- Put chars infront of her. (So it looks like she's in a crowd or something. You don't need to be able to see her fully. Just need to see her face and the book will do )
- Add shadows to her (makes her look like part of the BG. I left shadows out so you can go mad)
- Put dialogue for the chars you put in.
- Invert the reaper (so that she's lookin the other way)
- Attach your signature / watermark (though not splattered over the whole thing. Small one at the side is very welcome if you want some identity in the final product)

Things NOT to do

- Resize the image... As I need all the panels to be exactly 750 X 450 as above..... so comic panels look coherent.
- Do anything distasteful
- Attach dialogue to the Reaper (as I want her to be silent in the comic. Part of her char and also will make the planes coherent )
- Split the panel (as each entry should be a SINGLE panel)

Deadline

None yet. Will let this run for a LONG time due to local homework issues. See my journals for further updates.

Prizes

Depending on the success of this one, I may decide to throw in a mini-contest like what happened in the cake-fighting buisness......

Well, also noticed that the cell-shading on this is rather unusual. It's actually by accident... but worth for me to develop on it.

Least this SHOULD gimme enuff time to finish the "We were Gears" comic I'd been putting off for too damn long.
