The Path AheadWhat is the meaning of life?I’ve always thought about this question, and I’ve never reached a definite answer. But I believe it goes like this:God created us as we are. Everybody is created differently, with a different purpose and a different meaning within us. We all have a journey to complete, and at the end of the journey, we can see light. The light will look different to everybody, but light is always light.It’s like walking in a dark forest. We feel scared and alone. We meet different people on our way, and some are trustworthy and some are not. But there is one person we can trust in. And that person is God. “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” - Isaiah 41:10On our way, we will encounter temptations. We will also encounter pieces of ourselves and we might find our meaning bit by bit. But I know that at the end of the journey, we will see light. The light that shines through Jesus and gives us eternal happiness. That, in my opinion, is the meaning of life. The light gives our lives meaning.So anybody who feels like there is no light in the darkness, remember this: You are not alone. God is with you. And he will be with you forever. Whenever you see light, praise him. And whenever you see darkness, pray to him. He is the light that will guide you through the darkest of times. He is like the stars in the sky, his love is uncountable.But even though I know this, I still feel very alone and afraid sometimes. So I pray that I will start to trust in God more, and I pray that you will too.
