I always wanted to make my own version of an illustrated Alice in Wonderland.This is one of the few concepts which was meant to be used for later reference.

The cow turtle looks so sad. Maybe because the horns prevent it from putting its head back in the shell.

I really like the emotion you put into his face. Though a bit melancholy for a character, I enjoyed him very much from the book and I think you interpreted him well. The colors used here also give it a wonderful "old" painting look. Beautiful work.
