Back in 1992, Sunsoft who had made the awesome Batman movie game for the NES, was working on a Superman game. Alas, it was canceled, but would be brought to life as the Sunman video games. But an early build of the game was out there, and here are the sprites. The colors were mostly accurate, everyone needed a tweak or two, though Metallo was just greyscale. So he gets jeans and brown shoes. Doomsday's sprites were oriented sideways, so I just rotated him into a sort of uppercut pose.
