I love this show and this particular episode was - I think the best of the series and possibly of all the recent series'

Although David is "my Doctor" I am actually really looking forward to seeing what Mr. Smith (lol) brings to the character
I definitely think he's quirky enough to be the Doctor and I have faith in Steven's writing... so we'll see I suppose

I have to admit at first I was REALLY against Matt as the new doctor - it was stupid though cos based on the previews I agree - I think he has enough personality to make the role his own. I just hope the writing doesn't have him re-visiting too much of Tennants plots e.g. the scary stone angels they're bringing back... fingers crossed it will be great - looking forward to the Easter special!!

doctor who (still) = 
Loved it - good story, great pacing, well acted and Mr Smith was fantastic - glad I gave it a chance!! overall just brilliant!!! How about you?!?

I was sooo happy and SUPER excited for the next episode.
I was really thoroughly impressed with Matt. I had never really doubted him, I'd seen an interview with him and he seemed like he had a lot of character and quirkiness enough to play the Doctor.
But he blew me away

Have you seen the new episode yet??? it was a good one - werid but good!! don't want to say anything that might spoil it but I really liked the way the ending was handled and Mr Smith is certainly entertaining to watch!!

Second: yeah I agree. The flirting will be missed. But I really would love to see Jenny there, if only for a bit. I liked Donna, truly, but like you, I really wanted Rose back. Any ending would have done as long as there was some *closure*. The actual human doctor pairing was a better ending than I had hoped for

Hmmmm yeah I suppose it would be interesting to see a sort of father-daughter relationship - which hasn't been seen on Dr Who before... I really have no idea though what they've got in the pipeline - there's not really been any clues at all... those meaneys

I was pleased that we got some sort of closure, as when they split up I really didn't think there would be any chance of them meeting again but now it's all been tidly completed and she's with the Doctor (Yay!) - however I don't think anyone could have predicted the 'half human doctor' angle...and the 'real' doctors on his own again...

I saw the thumbnail of this on the front page before I was able to see the last episode. =\ After I had been trying desperately not to be spoilered.
It kind of made the fact that he was only half Doctor all the more bitter when the scene finally came up.
