There are many paths to power. Many of these require special knowledge, a supernatural edge that exists first in the mind.

Runes are a language of the universe, a sort of inscription/encryption of meaning into forms that manipulate the mind of the universe. With the right rune, you can turn electricity into heat, transmute water into gold, and drain the energy of a projectile before it touches your skin.

Among these runes, there are several that grant Mastery of an element. Known as ‘God Runes’ or the ‘Runes of God’, wielding these runes correctly promises instant ascension into the most powerful ranks of Staravorix heroes.

The second God-Rune was the Form Instantiate rune, which allowed for perfect creation of any substance using Warp. It was like a “New Object” command.
