Description
Milo was a small, innocent child who proclaimed his ambition to the world. "I will be the greatest man in the world!" he would exclaim to his parents. His parents would sweetly laugh and praise Milo on his inventions. Truth be told, Milo had no magical power. His brother Jan was the gifted one.
Milo didn't mean it anyways. He loved to talk about his dreams and would proudly tell others that he would be a ruler one day. But it was just a dream. The love of his parents and his family... that was real.

Until it wasn't.
Six Void Angels descended from the clouds. Milo looked up as the sky blackened to red.
It is said that he witnessed everything. He saw the void fire consume his parents. His brother Jan, the prodigy, tried to fight back and was struck by a void shell, permanently freezing his brain and rendering him essentially brain-dead and in a permanent coma.
The rest were consumed by the void.
Milo was ignored, stuck beneath a pile of rubble. The Void Angels left as swiftly as they had come, their motives a mystery, as they returned to Mikaros.

Milo struggled to escape as the void fire drew closer. He screamed as it caught on his leg, spreading slowly up to his right arm, warping away the flesh into nonexistence. But the fire also disintegrated the rubble and Milo burst free, the stump of his right leg and right arm burning with void fire that slowly crept towards his heart.
With single-minded purpose, he went to the kitchen. One of his inventions lay there, a projector blade that he'd bragged would replace knives. Weeping, he took the projector, turned it on, and sliced off the stump of his right arm, separating himself from the void flame before it could devour him. Then he sliced off his right leg, using the heated plate stove to cauterize the wounds. He watched as the void fire devoured the remnants of his limbs, shaking as he beheld the ruins of all that he had once been.

On that day, Milo's ambition became real.
