Description
"No! No! Come back...."A little tiny one (this drawing is no more than 5 inches tall...probably a little less, but I don't have a ruler). My scanner is not so good with such a tiny drawing, and not all the linework showed up. Anyhow, this flower is sad because the wind stole all its petals.

and a flower with feet too, toes curled in distress!
On scanning, I find for detailed stuff it works best to use a higher resolution, e.g. 300 or 600dpi, adjust levels/curves and maybe do a blur or apply a convolution filter before scaling the image down. But most of what I scan are engravings from 18th and 19th century books, so I don't know if it'll be the same for you.
