This was orignially supposed to be serious.Then came the blue lightning bolt.
Oh god, the shading here is horrible. It looked much better on paper, I swear.

I agree that the lightning bolt makes it seem a bit more of an "OVER THE TOP ANIME REACTION" type thing. XD
If it had a darker background, then it'd seem more dark and serious, to me.
But now I sound like an asshole, so I'll shut up. XDD
