What, you were expecting happy birds and spring flowers? Pfft, pirates and dinos are better! Anyways, something finally hit me with a wave of inspiration and here's the sketch dump to prove it! There's more where this came from but I didn't wanna have too much on one page. Most of these are scenes from that K&K dinosaur adventure while one was inspired by something else. I suggest a full view to see everything in detail. Now then! Top to bottom, left to right:

1.) At least this is one dinosaur that won't be trying to eat them.... right? I mean, unless it's a zombie or something.... ha. Haha! Like that could happen. Uh. Maybe we better not get too close, y'know, just in case? This is actually the first panel to a comic I started but I'm not sure if I'll finish anytime soon, the next part was frustrating me. Plus, I got a little distracted with some other scenes from this story.

2.) Yeowch! As seen in previous scenes that's one nasty injury -- and this would be right when he gets it. The creature responsible is what's looming over him, about to have a puny pirate protege for lunch. There's a sequel to this one but I'm gonna post it separately since it really wouldn't fit on this page.

3.) Well someone is feeling quite boastful today (surprising, I know) and Kit is shadowing him.

4.) Oy, this kid wants something and is NOT gonna take no for an answer. XD Anatomy not withstanding this one was really fun, especially the expressions.

5.) "But this one is a vegetarian!" I guess Kit still has his heart set on wanting a pet -- hey, at least this one won't eat them? Might step on them when he gets to be 75,000 pounds but, eh, details! Fun fact: I was originally gonna have this be a baby triceratops but then something dawned on me. Who remembers the old cartoon "Dink the Little Dinosaur"? I remember watching it way back when, it was basically Land Before Time the series. But guess who voiced Dink? R.J. 6.) This would happen after Kit's little encounter with the monster that gave him that gnarly gash -- and that other picture I mentioned (the one I'm gonna post separate)? That'll happen right before this. I swear one of these days I'll figure out how piece these all together so they make sense. I think Kit is trying to be tough here -- aw, it's not that bad (yes it is) -- but it's pretty obvious how badly he's hurt. As seen in other pictures from this story Kit ends up with a makeshift bandage (Karnage's coat sleeve) to stop the bleeding and I imagine this is the scene when that happens.

It's about time an art spree hit, this year as been relatively slow so far. Hopefully it lasts for a while; there are a few of these recent sketches I might be coloring soon too. We'll see. Stay tooned!
