Though he had made a friend with a fox several hundred years ago, but one year the fox said it would go back to its hometown. After that, WuXin never saw the fox again.
In all three worlds monsters have long been at odds with the underworld, during the Monster Destruction War 3,000 years ago, the sheol cats who were closely associated with the ghosts became the target of the demons. This is because the other monsters feel that the sheol cats race blessed by the underworld, is growing in power and want to annex the territory of other monsters. Monsters are creatures that follow the instincts of animals, and in this case all the sheol cats were slaughtered by other monsters.
At that time WuXin was very young, he had just learned to become a human. That day he was hidden by his mother in a distant tomb, that place is on the boundary between humanworld and the underworld, but he was eventually found by a spidermonster who brutally slit his throat. But that spidermonster is an inexperienced and careless young monster, he was finally killed by WuXin who thought he had killed. After WuXin also because of pain and blood loss, so bite the throat of the spidermonster fainted to death in the past.
When he woke up, he found that he had been saved by an unearthly messenger from the underworld. but the messenger used the soul of a man-eating monster Taotie to keep him alive, so he had the Taotie's spirit in his body. however as he grew older, his magic gradually became stronger, eventually he sealed the soul that did not belong to his own in one of his tails.
As time went by, the other monsters gradually learned that there was one last sheol cat still alive, but he was young and quiet, the other monsters thought he was just a kitten and posed no threat to them, so they ignored him. WuXin has also been doing the sheolcat's work, guiding other spirits into the underworld.
Then he learned at work,The gods of heaven were not satisfied with the present situation. People gradually forgot the existence of the gods and turned to the belief in science, so the gods decided to spread the plague and cleanse the mortal world. But he met a family in the world, it made him see the beauty of the world, so he decided to steal the elixir of life to prevent humans from dying of the plague.
Predictably, the guards of the Heavenly Realm finally captured him and escorted him to the Heavenly Emperor for judgment, the Heavenly Emperor appreciated his courage and decided to withdraw his decision, but he planned to steal the elixir of life, he was punished and imprisoned in heaven for 500 years.
