With their jobs given, the engines set off. Edward could see that Emily seemed a bit upset.

Emily: Yes, I enjoy working with you, Edward. It's just that... I sometimes feel a bit of a warm feeling when I work with Thomas. And now he's working with Ashima while she's here. What if he ends up falling in love with her and tries to go to India with her?

Edward: Look Emily... Thomas wouldn't leave Sodor for India. He loves it here too much. And Ashima... she lives in India. While she does come here once in a while... she wouldn't leave permanently.

Ashima was enjoying her time on Sodor, especially her time she spent with Thomas. She couldn't really get her mind on it, but she began to get a warm feeling whenever she was with him.
