Description
Show: Krypto The Super DogDeveloped by: Alan Burnett & Paul Dini
Date: March 25, 2005
Animation: (A) Since the show is made with a young audience in mind than most action shows, the color scheme is pretty bright, making it nice to look at. Plus, the character models are nice and slender.
Characters: (A) Speaking of characters, Krypto is just like Superman in how how altruistic he is, and his canine mannerisms make him adorable. Kevin manages to be a nice responsible kid while still having his own identity. The animal characters we see manage to be more than just animal versions of their human counterparts.
Writing: (A+) The show's strongest aspect is definitely it's writing. It could've just been a DC Comics show with animals, but it dwells deeper into various dog and cat ideas while still offering nice lessons on life and friendship.
Music: (A-) William Anderson, who would go on to compose music for My Little Pony, composed the show's music. It's naturally pretty awesome due to how heroic it is.
Enjoyment: (A) This is definitely one of the more obscure action shows, which makes it more special. The animation is nice. The characters are great. The writing is clever. The music is fun. I recommend it.
