Description
Creator: Dan SantatDate: July 28, 2006
Animation: (A) The show's animation is quite something. It started out good enough, with things looking like they came from a newspaper, but then it got better in season 2. It became brighter and more fluid, but the character models stay consistently good.
Characters: (A) The show has a nice cast of characters. Riley is the smart, dependable big sister, but she does have a funny, crazy side. Todd is essentially a mastermind of mischief, but he's still good hearted. Dick Daring is a bumbling dad with a fun, childlike personality. Agent K Daring manages to be a stern, but loving mother while also being an excellent. The supporting cast is also quite vibrant.
Writing: (A) The writing on the show is pretty good. It started out formulaic, but many of the later episodes played with the formula to give truly unique stories.
Music: (A) The show doesn't have much in terms of songs, but the ones we do get are nice. The background music is well done.
Enjoyment: (A) Considering this show is the only time Dan Santat was involved in television, he hit a home run. The animation and characters are well done and mesh well with the writing and music. I recommend this show.

I LOVED the Replacements! And I like it alot more than The Emperor's New School! Riley's way better, cuter and funnier than Malina! She's a B Average student while Malina's an overachieving windbag! Plush, I'd like to see a Pokemon game based off of this show! It's just a Pokemon game with certain existing Pokemon from the 6 generations and Dick Daring & Gordo Glideright are the rival professors who each give you a Starter Pokemon! Depending on which gender you choose, your rival and friends would differ. For "Todd", you'd have expys of Buzz, Jacobo & Shelton. For "Riley" Sierra, Abby & Tasumi expys!
