Synopsis: "We see another set of horror stories."

Tribute: Josh Weinstein is interesting. He's currently working on Gravity Falls, the only kids show he's ever written for. Before that, he used to write for adult cartoons, like The Simpsons in the 1990s. To honor his 49th birthday, I will do a "1001 Animations" for this Simpsons episode. Let's start.

You know that tradition where certain shows have episodes with 3 or more scary stories. Well, you can thank The Simpsons for that. This is definitely an enjoyable episode. This episode has 3 stories, with Bart as the narrator in between segments. The first segment is called "The Devil And Homer Simpson". Homer accidentally eats a forbidden donut, and gets sent to Hell. He gets sent to trial to prove his innocence. Ultimately, his love for Marge gets him out. The second segment is called "Terror At 5 and 1/2 Feet". On the way to school, Bart sees a gremlin on the side of the bus sabotaging the wheel. He tries to get rid of the gremlin, and succeeds, but is sent to the insane asylum where he sees the gremlin from a distance. The last segment is called "Bart Simpson's Dracula". Bart gets bitten by a vampire Mr. Burns, and acts strangely. The family has to destroy Mr. Burns to save Bart, but things become unexpected when everyone becomes a vampire. All the stories have a great blend of horror and comedy, and manage to parody various horror stories and movies well. It's a good episode.
