No, I'm not going back to the furry life, I just thought it was easier to make a good design if I drew her as an animal before. If my character Soarin and my friend's (LivDrawings ) character Meike had a daughter, this would be her. Now, of course she's adopted, but she kinda reminds me of Meike. Well, here's her info:

    Kala was born in Kailua, in Hawaii, 1999. She was about three years old when Meike and Soarin adopted her. That’s actually why she has just a little bit of accent. She was too young was she left Hawaii, but was already about to start learning to talk.
    Her parents were always so caring of her and treated her the way she deserved. Although she’s really close and caring to her fathers, she only met her grandparents only a few times and doesn’t have a strong connection to them. Other than her family, Kala doesn’t have many friends to her lack of empathy and weird vibe she gives off to people. She’s really trying to work on it, but doesn’t expect to change soon.
    Kala is considered, by her parents and other people, to be a very smart person. She can’t really wrap her head around Math and logic in general, but overall, she’s great at most school subjects and bound to have a bright future. She kinda always knew, since she was a child, that she was adopted, due to her ability to notice details and read between the lines, but obviously it was still a pretty big shock when Meike and Soarin told her.
    Besides going to school 5 days a week, Kala wanted to “contribute to society” by babysitting. Doing this, she thinks it’s “the right thing to do” and she’s going to be painted as a good girl, even though she’s just doing it for the reputation and the money. Her income is low, but it’s enough for her to buy cafeteria food or pay for the bus.
    Kala’s political opinion is mostly based on what she hears on the media, not really based on history itself. She can be very ignorant when the subject is politics. She’ll just fast to conclusions and not do any research whatsoever. For example, if someone says Donald Trump is a racist homophobic person, she’ll quickly believe it if they had any “proof”. But she’ll also quickly believe if someone said Hillary was the same thing, if, again, there was some type of proof to their argument. At the moment, she considers herself a liberal, just for the lack of research.
    Her hobbies include dancing, designing women’s clothing and making collages. Kala considers dancing and designing as some of her talents, along with swimming and running. She’s currently taking some swimming classes and since she was little, she was the fastest one of the bunch. Kala just thinks running on the outside is a great way to connect with nature and keep your spirit up.
    She believes herself to be pansexual and demiromantic. She always find herself to be someone hard to love. She has never had any crushes growing, but always accepted someone no matter who they identify as. She wants to live her life to the fullest and claims that she doesn't want to date anyone yet. She wants to feel free and not worry about relationships.
    Kala can be very ignorant of others’ feelings sometimes and not care at all for their benefit. Occasionally, she gets selfish and puts her needs first, other than helping others. Because of her loner and antisocial personality, Kala can come off as a bit… Mean. But most times than not, she’s just oblivious. She’s just too light-headed to notice the harm she causes on other people and instead of helping them, she just smiles away as if nothing happened.
    What really makes Kala stand out in a crowd is probably her bright blue/teal eyes and vitiligo marks that resemble stripes. Her charismatic personality can also charm people closer to her, even though that’s clearly not her point.
    Her style preference when it comes to clothes is a more native american look, what some people would call “indie” or a more modern hawaiian cultured approach with boho style. The colors she uses are mostly teal, dark red and brown and she’s always seen with a feather earring the same color as her eyes. When it comes to music, Kala can vary a lot, from rap to indie, from pop to rock. Her favorite band is The Ramones and her favorite artist is Lana Del Rey.
    Due to Kala’s “ability” to believe everything she hears, she’s already given up on having a religious belief. As soon as she learned a different religion, she believed it. Eventually, she gave up and now, just lets things go naturally.
    Some could say she has Antisocial Sociopath Personality Disorder, but she hasn’t come to that conclusion and no one’s worried about it yet. In the future, this might get too out of control, to the point where she lacks to feel any sort of empathy towards others and just desire fame, popularity and success. Happily, it hasn’t gone that far yet, but I sure do hope Meike and Soarin keep an open eye for this kid...
