So... a long time ago, in a galaxy far far away, my husband and I shared a first kiss and BAM, now exactly 17 years later, we also share our lives, 2 wonderful kids and much more!

We met through the Star Wars fandom, and I remember people asking if he got me into it (lol...). Other people said I started a relation with him because he looked like Obi-Wan (double lol...). They didn't know I was the geekiest one 🤣😋

We of course didn't only talk about Star Wars. Actually, not a lot! (Nobody believes me when I say this.) But one of the Star-warsy-things we did back then was drawing together, and at a certain moment we also did some RPG's online. One of the characters we designed, was the pair you can see at www.deviantart.com/sofie3387/a… . I thought it'd be fun to get my inspiration there, while also combining other characters and cosplays we've made over the years.

For our kids, I just did some mindless designs. I was on a tight schedule 🤓 so I kept the rendering more basic as usual and tried out some new things that were long due on my 'to experiment' list.

I drew this piece, because I want to thank him for dealing with all my shenanigans, being the one who will always calm me down and be there for me. I know I'm not the easiest person and I need space to dream (and sometimes have late nights doing shit like this 😉). There are things only we understand. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

Also, from now on, we have been a couple longer than I was single, which is a really special feeling. It feels like I'm definitely not going to know how to live without him 😭😂 One thing's for sure, it feels great and I hope we can add a lot more happy years to that number!
