On another note, I have been holding onto this piece for a bit while working on other stuff and working on the story XD Idk how I feel about the water but water is hard so eeeh. I like how the clouds turned out though, they have been a struggle for me the last few months XD

After their success at the Sky and Sea International, Antoine and Rohan were back in Australia for the Australian Warmblood Trials. The country had started to grow on Antoine, but admittedly it felt better to go there when he came from the cold of the Danish Winter to the warmth of the Australian Summer. Right now, however, the opposite was the case. The weather here was cold and overhead clouds were threatening to drop their water at any moment. And as he was riding along the water for the beachride on the first day of the Trials, he found himself daydreaming about the warmth he had left behind by going to Australia this time of year. He had stubbornly insisted on going alone, even after Aden had shown concern when he relayed his experience of the last trip. It was always good to have an extra pair of hands in case of unexpected situations coming up. Unfortunately, Antoine didn’t see it as much, he would rather push through obstacles instead of slowing down the work. Just like he was doing now while garnering a cold. The sniffles were coming in. He really didn’t always handle the acclimation to majorly different climates well. And evidently, what he was worried about at the Sky and Sea International seemed to have become reality now. But alas, it was just a cold. Though that didn’t stop him from already thinking about how he would hide his sniffles in case anyone from back home called.
He was brought back to the present, as he felt Rohan under him tense slightly and step away from the waves rolling towards them. He eyed the steed and decided to address the issue immediately. When a new wave rolled in, he nudged the stallion forward to encourage him to stay put and not swerve away from the water again. The wave crashed into Rohan’s hooves and he almost stepped away, but Antoine kept his leg on him. With some added encouragement, his curiosity took over, and he hesitantly stepped further out while snorting at the cold, foamy mass.
“Good boy, “ Antoine praised him, as he patted the steed's neck, “Let’s go a little further out” It wouldn’t be wise to go too far out with the waves being extra turbulent this time of year. But ankle-deep would do fine.
He nudged Rohan forward again, this time without much hesitation from the stallion. As soon as they were further out and stopped up, Rohan sniffed the water and pawed the water, much to Antoine’s dismay.
“Hey, quit that,” He commanded while steering him out of the water again. That was enough for one day. Rohan shook his neck and yawned. Not being allowed to splash the water was clearly a bit boring to him. Meanwhile, Antoine looked down and inspected the “damage”, and surely enough parts of the tack and his clothing had got wet. Well, that was going to be a pain to clean. He exhaled deeply but quietly and nudged Rohan forward to continue their beachride.
