I feel a little bit strange with the background but I really like this idea.
And I love what you did with the colors. The opposition between blue/orange, hot/cold colors, and the shadows! It looks great!
It looks more like a speedpaint/sketch than like a wonderful finished picture, but I don't care, because there are feelings in this pictures! (or at least, in my opinion there are ^^°)
