Squee. I'm happy this came out well. Woo. LoLAnyway, obviously it's Will Vandom from (the comic version of) W.I.T.C.H.
Didn't bother to draw her wings that's within the original capture that I'd referenced this from in the comics, but just 'cause I just like the shot w/out.
Impressed with myself, cuz it only took me about 5 or 6 hours or so to complete (and it's usually a bit longer, especially for something this detailed). Yay me. LoL

Considering it's quite a well known shot, with a few of the same on here, and most who comment/fave or what have you on it are WITCH fans or are familiar, as well, didn't feel it needed to be said.

with obvious indication that yeah, this exists already prior to my deciding to recreate for myself because I really enjoyed that shot, and literally no one else who's seen it has said a word/blinked an eye of such wonder except you in all this time, I don't think anyone will.
Not to mention since I help run a WITCH group, with hundreds of related art coming in daily throughout the years and about 90% of those are usually recreations of official art and the artist does not say so, either, yet everyone who views it already knows because they're fans, themselves, as well, and have most likely seen the real deal, already. You'd probably have to go after the rest of them, as well.

Ha believe me I have met more people who say the same thing as I do the difference is most of them don't comment and just think about it behind the artist back.

I DO believed you just use a referenced and not traced it. I just think you should note that in you're comment before anyone is going to accuse you of tracing or of taken all credit for the pose. It's just an easy way to avoid trolling Believe me a month ago a girl was trolled of Deviantart for using drawing poses and screenshots of a cartoon. It was obvious she used an references but didn't state it and people attacked her for it and she reacted the complete wrong way. Don't worry I didn't troll her I tried to advice her how not to get trolled but all she did was calling everyone troll who gave her some advice.
I get what you mean with the fellow W.i.t.c.h. fans but I am talking about the non W.i.t.c.h. fans.

erm..really? I mean if it was like 70 or 50 out of 100 but 90 out of 100? I do believe you I am just very surprised that so many would do that.
But I get you're point since most of you're friends are big Witch fans like you'reself it isn't needed. But in the future if anyone is trying to accuse you of something just tell them the same thing. You don't react the wrong way So I geuss either way you're safe from being trolled. lol

And I understand this, but if there are a few who don't know, actually ask me 'hey, where's this from?', and I tell them. If those who even go as far as to say 'is she a character of yours?' I also tell them straight, no, it's not.
So again, it isn't like making art, posting it up and going, 'Eeeeyea. Yep. It's all mine. Suck it.' And also again, my AC already indicates it pre-exists, so yeah.
And yes, the founder and I go through a lot of submissions per day and make sure to check the AC just mainly to be sure oh, is this an OC of theirs or canon character at times, and they generally give no indication 'yep, this was from....' if it's a 'famous shot.' Mainly because most who look at it, again, already know.
And it isn't a friend factor, those who see my work and so okay, that's why fingers haven't been pointed. I honestly get more people I don't know than I do or know of, rather, who frequent my page, and still none of them have batted an eye in this way.
I've been fortunately blessed not to ever get sucked into the whole troll scene in the four years I've been here, although I do know of a few people who haven't been as lucky. And I also know there are various forms of trolls, from obvious to subtle, so it can be hard for some to tell the difference.
But if you're really interested in cracking down the whip, so to speak, this one was/is someone to look after :iconwarriorwinxfan: , as she'd gone around a few months back posting direct screenshots or original work and said they were hers, then went to other people's pages and accused them of stealing her 'work,' which were in fact just things she'd uploaded straight.
But anyhow, thanks all the same for the concern of sorts, and at least never having believed it was a mere trace.

That's very true I renmber someone made an OC/fan art drawing of some anime Using a famous Witch picture which was of Will while having finger-puppers that look like the rest of the Witch group. She stated no reference or even mentioned anything of Witch in her comments I wanted to make a comment on her but lucky about 30 people before me pointed it out the obvious. XD the thing is Witch is more popular in Europe then in the USA. While most Da American MEMBERS can take advantage of that while using Witch references.
That's very good I think its very wrong if you would be trolled for a huge misunderstanding.
Could you type in the user names again? I don't see her Icon showing up. If she is indeed a thief I report her. Trough it can take 4 to 9 months before any admin will ban her <<. I am very much against art thieves so I report them lol.

Nope I found your page trough your more 100 procent Original art and tracers lack that 
Sorry if I came out harsh it's just that at the same time I found this I came across someone who doesn't even make her own art and who took credit for unknown anime pictures and then try to cover it up. I got so sick of these kind of reactions so this made my day.

Yeah, I remember that drawing -- The original, not the one this person apparently tried to keep as their own.
The series, the comics, at least, have actually been becoming a lot more prominent for people in the states, I've noticed over the years. At least those who have 'net access and can find/read the scanlations posted, anyhow. The rest who are interested and have heard of the series, usually settle for or go to the animated incarnation over on YT, if nothing else.

Not sure if she's been up to her tricks again lately, since I just saw the WITCH official art she had up for ages and said they're hers (with some even having the name of a forum moderator, who'd clearly also used it as a signature or something prior to her finding it) are finally down. But some of the Winx Club things she'd posted she'd also say were hers, like one of the characters as a mermaid, which is also another pretty popular shot, but she'd stated she'd drawn it for her friend.
Anyhow, I'm glad it's all settled now and you're better spirits, it seems, since I didn't admittedly find your sudden arrival and basic "WTF is THIS, man??? o_O" a bit 'harsh,' yes. And since I'd had a very very long day yesterday which didn't honestly end until right when i'd seen your post as I was finally climbing into bed...yeah. Wasn't fun. ~_~ lol and then I fell asleep w/out a new reply from you so I thought it was done, but I wake up not too long ago and see you came back with more, and I was like "...Fun times." lol
but no, unless the person is blatantly rude/disrespectful to me, I generally don't have anything else but a calm reaction. And even if they are outright rude, I still don't retaliate in a "I'll cut you!" way, because I know they're most likely a troll, as well, and this is precisely the reaction they want, so yeah.
You'd never get a crybaby troll reaction from me for anything. lol

Sky Doll is a bit more sexual and violent then Witch but I thought I let you know it did got released in the USA so have fun :3. That's true but I think it is more easier to find European Witch fans wince its crazy Witch like over her. I heard the animated series kind of bombed in America.

I love the comic version way better than the animated. They really ruined the animated. The story is good, though.

Yeah, one of my friends has been ranting nearly every time new issues of the comic version come out, in contrast, saying how they've evidently changed, forgotten about, or gotten lazy with so much in terms of already established plots and followups.
And since he's read them inside out from start to current, I'm inclined to take his word for it.
