Squee. I'm happy this came out well. Woo. LoLAnyway, obviously it's Will Vandom from (the comic version of) W.I.T.C.H.
Didn't bother to draw her wings that's within the original capture that I'd referenced this from in the comics, but just 'cause I just like the shot w/out.
Impressed with myself, cuz it only took me about 5 or 6 hours or so to complete (and it's usually a bit longer, especially for something this detailed). Yay me. LoL

No no, NOW I do (take it as a compliment). LoL =Þ 'Sides, if I DID trace it or any other thing for that matter, I'd never bother to post it cuz it's not really art or something I personally did. But thankfully I never need to (No, not bragging) cuz I was thankfully blessed to draw (most of) what I see (most of the time) exact. LoL

What, like taking something the original artist did, and uploaded it and are like, "Lookit what I did!!"? Well, yeah, of course I'd report that if I saw it. But this one couldn't be accused of being that since it's clearly (or so I believe, anyway) drawn on sketchpad paper. Unless we're missing an understanding chip here or something. But it IS also nearly 6 am for me, so yeah. You'll have to excuse the ol' girl. ^_~
And yea, trust me. I'm always against tracing and definitely theft, period. Had to verbally beat down some chick a few months back who had stolen my friend's art work and said, "Isn't it pretty? I'd worked on it for AGES!!" ~_~ LoL

Yes. Exactly. Taking something another artist did. And no. I NEVER said your picture was stolen. Sorry if you got that wrong. It's clear that you drew this yourself (even if it was traced you'd still have made it yourself).
I tried to search for irma just for fun right now. To prove a point here's a bunch of very similar images where I suspect *some* of them to be downright stolen.
All of these was found within the first 120 searchresults for the word "Irma".

Yeah, true (Sorry, fell asleep before lol) But isn't that also just a form of fanart (some of the ones you'd shown, I mean), with them trying to draw a piece of original art as best as possible? That's how I'd always perceived it anyway. So long as they're not like "I totally came up with this, myself!" of course LoL

I've seen a lot of "this is my idea and I came up with everything all by myself" instances with traces and eyeballing. So be careful about asuming that everybody is honest about their sources.
I don't mind people copying as long as they don't break the rules of the art gallery they post it in and clearly mentions what the original is (and that it is a copy). A lot of people doesn't want to do that though. They want to take full credit for everything. 
(seriously, I've even had people telling me that "their drawing was their own original idea and they did everything without any sorts of references when said drawing was a very clear tracer of one of my own original drawings... Including traced background.)

I SO agree. I'm italian, and I recognize every W.I.T.C.H. pic when I see one of them. I've fpund a deviant who traced the cover of one of the last comic, and I gently asked her if she could put credits into the comment 'cause it was not her original piece... And she just hide my comment!

No i know that those who are all, it's original but i've SEEN the true original elsewhere is fake and wrong. i meant that if we know it's a picture from the original creator but then someone draws a copy of it, to ME that's still fanart. they just like that original drawing so much that they tried to draw it themselves. but if they SAY it's MINE, then i get pissed too.
