All those tears that I tried to blink awayMy disturbed thoughts turned into reality
I never imagined how far away from you I could be
But now it’s time to blink back those tears
I would have given you all my victory’s
Because without you I’m not quite me
I would have loved you as best as I knew how
I would have looked after you as best as I knew how
But I guess I don’t know enough to deserve you
How could this dream turn into a nightmare
Why did you leave me all alone
Can’t you see you are my everything
Don’t you know you make my heart sing
You turned my life inside out
I thought I knew what life was about
And every time you walk past me
My heart freezes in place
Because I still love you
I just wish that you’d feel the same
I don’t have enough energy to fight
All I can do is pray
Pray that I will recover from this self inflicted wound
And pray that you’ll find someone that’ll love you as much as I would’ve.

great poem!!! i really like it. only suggestion would be not to use "as best as i knew how" twice. but i seriously think this is awesome, especially the ending. really good feelings there. keep up the great writing.
