11 APRIL 2022.

Having joined in August 2021, Days of Bloom was something I've been eagerly awaiting ever since first being told about it in my and Kidde's genuine moth days. Being able to obtain a pretty pink cherry blossom cape, along with enjoying a shower of cherry blossom petals raining down upon you and your friends. Well, in 2022, they upped the game with the addition of the wisteria tree in Hidden Forest, along with some fancy new wisteria-themed items!! You bet Kidde and I eagerly joined in on that! Safe to say that Days of Bloom was everything amazing I'd imagine it to be and more, thus I had to make an illustration for it at the time.

I was present on JP Sky Twitter at the time, so I quickly found inspiration in the many stunning and gorgeous Days of Bloom wisteria works. Sadly, at this time I cannot find the exact tweet that inspired this illustration (and let's not mention how Twitter is broken as I type this anyhow...), but it was an illustration of a Sky child with the witch hat, said hat having wisteria coming out of it like a graceful veil. Kidde's not a hat wearer per se, but such a beautiful and fantasy-inspired look can be done with her umbrella, which I changed to resemble the wisteria teaset that had came out that year.

And HO, did they up the ante even further for 2023!!

Here's my piece for 2023's Days of Bloom, where they truly captured the most pristine of spring's vibes!!

MEDIUM/TOOLS: UNI Pen fine line (0.5, 0.1 - dark grey), and Ohuhu Honolulu alcohol markers (brush nib.).
