I'm not sure where this pair came from, and I normally don't give my characters I draw a backstory but I thought that these two are lovers and were cursed by a evil sea witch that was jealous of their love. She thought that putting them together would break them (ironic I know), but in the end it just made there bond even stronger and they decided to stay like this. Jasper (The right one) always take any hits if they get into a fight. He is super protective of Noah (the one of the left). Noah lost his tail in a huge fight and ever since that day Jasper swore to protect him no matter what. Jasper is a head strong and stubborn merman, but kind in his own way. Noah normally keeps to himself and Jasper. His hard for him to make any friends and sometimes struggles to keep up with Jaspers high energy life. He is self-conscious, but he is also very smart. (He teases Jasper about this all the time). He wanted to become stronger so Jasper didn't have to always take on everything seemingly on his own.
So ye.. I just thought of their story while I drew them.
