This was a previous chapter cover from the first season. I re-drew it and put in Naruto in Shippuuden time. I'm pretty happy with how the colors came out. Hope you like it!

I'm good, been inactive for a while, my DA got busted and been busy as usual.
But things are good, I'm feelin the Holiday spirit already! Our Fireworks Festival just kicked off so I'm gonna get to watch a pyro display every Saturday and Sunday until New Year so I'm pretty psyched hehe!

Have I stroked your ego lately? I don't think I have. This is so awesome that I can't think of a word good enough to convey it's awesomeness. The lighting is unique as usual and the shading is good too ^w^ I wish I had your patience to work on one thing at a time like you do lol.

Hhe I used gradients for shading, makes things more attractive, and I discovered a new technique for playing with colors so I'm quite happy hehe! I worked on that for half a day I think, I actually fell asleep halfway through coloring this jeje! ^^"

lol that's pretty quick. It takes me like a week to color anything that extensively (only because I get bored and have to do something else after a few hours...maybe I have lazy person's ADD XD)

Hehe lol, well I on the other hand only get to color stuff during weekends thanks to 11 hours of work daily during weekdays, I work from 8am to 7pm and it really takes much of my life, and when I get home I try to draw and I get sleepy, when I first came to DA last May I was like posting 2 to 3 deviations almost daily, but nowadays I post I guess 2 to 3 times a week lol.
Anyways hehe, I'm quite lazy at times too hehe!

Absolutely great coloring job too! Must've been GREAT practice on angles/perspective work for sure!
If you want some critique, I do believe his nails need a bit of coloring - as they are now, they're okay, but without any coloring/minimal shading, it kinda looks like he's wearing white nailpolish.
However, the coloring is absolutely FANTASTIC, and the more I look at this, the more captivating and awesome it gets... I can definitely tell you're getting better and better! If I didn't know better and just came across it on google without any signature etc., I'd think Masashi himself made this! D:

Haha yeah that's what my mom always tell me when she critiques my stuff, I always leave the nails white lol, hehe I always forget to color them critters darn hehe, lazy old Wind-san. XD
Thanks for the critique though, I'll keep that in mind.
As for the coloring, Wind's discovered another secret Photoshop Jutsu that enhances colors so I'm very happy and it has helped my recent drawings get better hues hehe. Hehe we will all rule the world, and take over Naruto and kick Kishimoto to the curve haha lol!

Yes, I actually have drawn Minato-san, it's one of the prizes I'm making for ~Naruto-Mania 's contest..a club which I am part owner of and I'm not that active there so the least I can do is give out prizes for the contest lol.

They're NINJA NAILS - they're so stealthy you simply don't see them and thus, they avoid getting colored. Totally.

Sometimes, I think someone HAS kicked Masashi to the curb and taken over Naruto with all the Sasuke-stuff going on now... but according to the Naruto Shippuuden Data Book, he denies this and says it IS still him and he does NOT have a crush on Sasuke as Naruto is his favorite character. XDD
