Meryl was definitely one of the more under-appreciated characters in the series. For being so petite, she must have been deceptively strong, being able to do the kind of running around she did with all that hardware strapped to her back.
Still, as interesting as her weapons setup was, I couldn't help but feel that it was seriously impractical the moment I saw it, since it would have had to be a pain, collecting and reloading all of those guns after each use. I suppose if you were in a stationary position, like in a standoff, with someone beside you reloading constantly, you'd get a little more use out of the concept. But it doesn't play to mobility.
Very well-drawn pic, though, setting my little rant aside.

Wow, aside from the fact this is a very good painting and I admire your skill in producing it, the fact is also that I started watching Trigun, for the first time, a couple weeks ago (despite it being a classic and I should have already seen it) ; I'm almost finished with the show, so seeing this now is one big coincidence!
