With the first post of 2018 I'd like to introduce you another OC I redesigned last year: Astarisë.

Astarisë was a Noldo Elf from a MERP's campaign I played in the early '90s. I had recently acquired the Rolemaster 2 Boxed Set during a trip to the UK and after introducing it to my gaming group we were finally able to increase the PCs level higher than 10 - the maximum level cap in the MERP rules. So technically, Astarisë was the first character to ever get over 10th level in one of our games, I think he was 13th level when we stopped playing that campaign. He was of course a Noldor Warrior.

For this redesign I wanted to take on a different way and instead of trying to draw the character as close as possible to the source material I re-imagined him, trying to give him the look I wanted to portray at the time but I wasn't able to attain due to my poor technical skills. The result is a different character, although I tried to keep him the same noble and haughty appearance.
