Description
Sagard was a character I created and played during our late Middle Earth years. We had explored the canon so much that we lost interest in the usual topics so we took a tour of the less known parts of the Middle Earth, the "expanded universe" compiled by the RPG sourcebook that actually had little, if any, to spare with Tolkien's works.
However: one of these places was the Sea of Rhun and the lands of the East, and the people living there, the so-called - well - Easterlings. Sagard was from one of those tribes and had been trained as a baskhar: an athlete, gymnast, and bare-handed fighter. Yes, a red-haired muay thay kickboxer in Middle Earth sounds a little awkward, but this is it!

Aside from the folklore, Sagard was actually an interesting character to play. Young, brash and headstrong, he teamed up with a Dusk Elf sorcerer and an experienced Dwarven warrior and lived some strange adventures back then.
I have a special place in my memory for him!
