Description
Hi everyone! Here's a manip I finished a moment ago, after I got the idea for it. This manipulation consists of three photos; the sky (at sunset), the boat and the misty sea. I also used a few other of my photos to create the water movement in front of the boat. I combined the photos in PS and added an orangeish tint & the frame.Print available.
Work time: ~1.5h
Info: All three photos taken with EOS 20D & Sigma 12-24mm
Hope you like it. Comments and critiques are welcomed.

Once again: colours, softness, crispness, contrast... Oh, and the dark framing. All simply amazing. (Sleep reduces my vocabulary to a few words, but not yet my awe.)

you have an Interesting image there... I like it all including the tint as it goes very well with the feel of the image, have you tryed Duo/tri/quad tones before ( if this isn't done that way )
you first turn the image mode to Grayscale then the mode to Duotone and mess around with the Pantone colours, you can get some very good colorizing this way.

Thank you so much. I have been using PS for about 5 years now, and know the duo/tri/quad etc tones really well.
But not used in this though.

I don't like the water splash infront of the boat - it's too harsh and unnatural. Otherwise - like always -

Yeah, that was the most challenging part of the project.. I made it as real-looking as I could. :S

(jaw drops) Wow. That looks really awesome. The way the coloring is, it looks almost metallic, which looks really beautiful. And it isn't a messy photomanipulation, which just adds to the prettyness. (blinks) Wait. .. that wasn't a word. ..ah well.

wow... lucky it's a photo manipulation, otherwise there would be another fishing boat under the sea level.
