Here's the first batch of illustrations for my newest Nicktoons Unite story "The Final Countdown". Which you can read here. [link] Here I drew a couple of parts that go on in the story. I'm not particularly happy with the way the backgrounds turned out, but I've said that I hate drawing backgrounds and am not really good at doing them either. But oh well, here's a bit of what's going on in them...I'll try to keep the spoilers to minimum...

Top left: Set at the beginning when Jimmy meets Max after bumping into him when walking home from school. Max immediately yells at him with his temper, and Jimmy is surprised at how the kid’s hairstyle kinda resembles his own. Afterwhich, Max runs off and bad things start a-comin’.

Top right: This is where Jimmy gets discouraged over everything that’s happened so far and thinks he’s failing to lead the Nicktoons, but Danielle talks to him and brings his spirits back up. Is there something going on between them…Jimmy, did you get taller?

Bottom left: I think this is when Max’s powers go out of control, and here it shows Jimmy, Danny, Darry, and Tammy witnessing this. If you look, you can see Jimmy wearing his Neutronic Mech-Suit from the first story, which now fits a lot better than it used to

Bottom right: Here is where the Nicktoons manage to get Max into Fenton Works and after he became calm, he and his loving robot SpongeBorg decided to do a little coloring. Max draws a picture of Platform to show everybody what it looks like. Unfortunately, Max is left-brained like his father, so his drawing is not really the best.

There you have it. Make sure you check out the story if you haven't yet. And I'll also draw some more illustrations to go along with these ones.
