An illustration meant to promote my recent SpongeBob fic, The Yellow Avenger 2. One of the main themes of the story is fear of the consequences that comes with being a superhero. Since the story parodies the superhero genre, I thought it'd be funny if SpongeBob had a comical version of a superhero death, complete with his female counterpart, the Masked Squirrel.
