I've been drawing up some species stuff for a personal project of mine, but sometimes I just want to draw a creature that's less grounded. It's nice to have fun and not have to think whether or not your species makes sense. Sometimes you just wanna design weird colorful things.

I've made a lot of species concepts in the past that I've sorta just... ignored since, but I keep finding myself coming back to this thing I drew up last year:

I just really like eyeless monsters for some reason. Anyways, I decided to work on them a tiny bit more. Made some small tweaks to them and figured out how their color/marking scheme works.

Usually I post this sort of stuff on my main, but since I plan to make a few adoptable designs of this thing (I did spend some time designing random ones, might as well adopt them out), I figured it'd be better to post it here since this is where I deal my adoptables from.

Now if only I can figure out a name for these things...
